Touch is an essential part of the human experience. It is apparent from birth through present day living. In modern day medicine, touch is often overlooked and replaced with pills and painkillers leading to long term negative effects on our bodies.
Years ago, what we know as western nursing practice involved massage as a large aspect of the overall healing practice. In busy doctor's offices, touch is just not part of the healing process anymore. I believe massage therapy is absolutely key in the healing process for so many various ailments. Because it relieves stress, it is uniquely foundational in the healing process, any time and any place.
You can feel within yourself a strong sense of well being and an understanding of the optimal way your body is capable of feeling. Only you can feel this. Only you can sense this wonderful change within yourself, whether it be after one session or whether it be a time altered process that is acquired from an individualized routine based on your specific needs.
An increasing number of research studies show massage reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases blood circulation and lymph flow, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion, and increases endorphins (enhancing medical treatment). Although therapeutic massage does not increase muscle strength, it can stimulate weak, inactive muscles and, thus, partially compensate for the lack of exercise and inactivity resulting from illness or injury. It also can hasten and lead to a more complete recovery from exercise or injury.
All massage services are on an Out-call or In-Home basis. That means that I bring all the comfort and luxury of a spa massage treatment to your home or business.
Each massage is unique and personal with a blend of holistic, eastern and western techniques. With the intention of your well being, your sessions will consist of my grounding work, calling of our personal guides, energy work, Tibetan chimes, relaxing music and use of Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.
Healing the whole, means balancing the four energy bodies: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
